Programs and Services
Child Quest International is a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and recovery of missing, abused and exploited children, and at-risk adults in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our services are offered free to all victims and their families.
Parental / Non-Custodial Abductions
- Cooperate with law enforcement to gather intelligence information
- Coordinate with law enforcement on local, state, federal & international levels
- Utilize advanced database systems
- Analyze cases independently
- Provide surveillance and other investigative techniques
- Contribute knowledge of state and federal laws
- Assist and support all those affected
Stranger Abductions
- Assist law enforcement as requested
- Generate and distribute posters
- Conduct searches
- Perform independent analysis on cold cases
International
- Provide services in English and Spanish
- Furnish understanding of the Hague Convention
- Act as liaison between countries and parties involved
- Provide information on culture and laws of foreign country
- Network with similar non-profits abroad
- Analyze cases independently
- Assist and support all those affected
Runaways and At-Risk Youths and Adults*
- Support law enforcement as requested
- Collaborate with outside agencies
- Provide search and recovery assistance
- Generate and distribute posters
- Interview parties involved and follow-up on leads
- Utilize investigative techniques and strategies
- Provide information on laws pertaining to runaways and at-risk individuals
- Report abuse, neglect and exploitation to appropriate authorities
- Assist with family reunification, mediation and nationwide referrals
Counseling and Legal Assistance
- Advise individuals on steps to begin searching process
- Provide filing information for domestic and international paperwork
- Furnish referrals for family reunification and counseling services
- Lobby for bills to benefit children's rights
Education
- Present "Our Kids Are Safe Kids" child safety program
- Distribute Milk Cartons: "The Way Back Home" safety video
- Create educational materials for parents and children
- Provide fingerprinting services
- Distribute "No Strings Attached: Resource Guide For Youth" pamphlet
- Educate children, teens, parents and grandparents on their rights and obligations

* At-risk generally refers to people with mental disabilities such as Dementia, Autism or Alzheimer's Disease, but may also refer to individuals who are a danger to themselves or others. |
